Based in Johannesburg South in Eikenhof on their small farm, the family started with 200 Ross 308 broilers. Today we are producing eggs, poultry meat, and hatching chickens. We have also expanded into producing affordable locally made poultry incubators using our own developed incubator controllers for local farmers as well as neighboring countries for both large and small scale farmers pursuing their dream of becoming a poultry farmer.
Founded in 2023 by Robyn de Melo, MeloIOT has come a long way from its beginnings in Johannesburg South. When the de Melos, first started out, their passion for good quality chicken drove them to develop their own IOT devices to monitor and control incubators and other functions on the farm , so that MeloIOT can offer you the best value IOT devices and bespoke development products on the market.
